Our Chef: Mr. Germaine Mitchell

Chef Mitchell gained his experience at some of the top branded hotels in St. Lucia, Turks & Caicos and Bermuda. His appreciation and love for the industry was nurtured by his mother who was involved in the culinary industry. Chef Mitchell describes himself as a grass-roots man who has worked his way to the top of his profession.

Working alongside dedicated teams in the hotels' kitchens, the Chef has introduced new dishes, with rave reviews from hotel guests and patrons dining at the Waterfront Restaurant. Chef Mitchell is very committed to incorporating local produce and product in the new menus, which are crafted with French Caribbean flair. He comes to Fort Young Hotel with the aim of exceeding guest satisfaction.
